How to get to Lugnaquilla House Hostel while walking the Wicklow Way.

At the point where the Wicklow Way crosses the Military Road (approximately 8km due south of Drumgoff Barracks) follow the hostel sign (2km) down into Aughavannagh. You can pick up the Wicklow Way by continuing down to the Ow River at the Iron Bridge – this is a pleasant detour and gives panoramic views of Aughavannagh and Lugnaquilla plus you are not losing out on any walking time. The Hostel provides a luggage transfer service to next destination (15 euro per person).
